our friend, a great okinawa style restaurant group "En" will finally opened Lan Kwai Fong branch !!!

i went to check out there and found the terrace is sooooo nice and confortable.
it's an amazing place like an oasis in LKF, the busiest place in hk !
dishes are also great and always satisfy us enough.
many japanese people live in hk won't miss japan really much.
although need to be careful, many bottle of awamori (okinawa style vodka or shochu?!) filled up all the wall must make us excited.... i have no choice to toe down everytime....

i'm gonna djing on 1.dec for their grand opening party.let's get crazy even on monday night.
i mainly play electronic music at club but feel like playing more groovy live sounds as well here enjoy myself, make you fun !!!

i love hk, such a city still can enjoy drinking beer at outside terrace, nice !!!



いつもお世話になってるEn GroupのLan Kwai Fong店が12/1にいよいよグランドオープン！！！

先日した見に行ってきましたが、外のテラスがすごく居心地良くてLKFという香港で一番騒がしいエリアの中のオアシス的な場所になる事間違いなし！
更にごはんもすごく美味しくて、これだけおいしい料理が食べれるならあまり日本が恋しくならないかも？！
と思いきや、店内に並ぶすごい数の泡盛のボトルに興奮してまたまた泥酔必至。
今後ちゃんと家に帰れるか不安にすらなります。


この日は早速オープニングでDJしますので月曜日ですけど、皆さんガッツリ飲んで行きましょう！！！
最近クラブではもっぱらelectronic musicを中心にプレイしているので、ここではもっと生音を色々取り込んだ選曲で楽しんだり楽しませたり出来たら良いなと思います。


今の時期でもまだまだ外のテラスで飲むビールがウマい香港がナイス！！！

One of the most diversity and unique ECO-friendly contemporary art show, The Nomadic decob (organized by COOL, NY), will be held from November 21 to December 2, 2008, at La Belle Beauty Salon, G/F NO.7 Glenealy Central, in Hong Kong.In midst of the global environmental issues, we believe taking initiative on what we can do locally, around our personal surroundings is the step towards solving the global issue. The hand-made eco-bag,

Decorated Eco-Bag (decob) will be shown to international audiences in effort to raise awareness of environmental issues and call to take initiatives.

Artist from around the world have been invited to participate in this exhibition by using these bags as a canvas to express their thoughts about the subject. The decob has been exhibited in Toronto Canada, Tokyo and Osaka Japan, and will travel to the following cities: Shanghai, London and New York.


All original works will be for sale.

New York based art magazine, COOL(http://www.cool-ny.com) is calling for artists to contribute their original, hand-made eco-bags: Decorated Eco-Bag, a.k.a "decob," for an exhibition and a product-release project, The Nomadic "decob."

DJ ZOE BIOGRAPHY

ZOE came in touch with black music while at high school in 1994 and started to play dj around osaka, japan mainly.
he gained a good enough experience through party, campus festival and so on.
then, he formed his own musicianship and philosophy of entertainment.
also he entered for a various DJ battle, DJ contest and got excellent results.
In 1999, he entered DMC DJ MIXING CHANPIONSHIPS as japan team and he was given a headline in tv, radio and papers.
from 1999, he got new challenge for track maker and remixer and got a high valuation on remix work.
finaly he bloomed his talent as creator and offered his track to prominent artist in Japan.

after he graduated from kansei gakuin univ in 2001, he become professional artist.
especialy his turntable performance overpowered others and no one surpassed him.
In 2003, he put forward new amazing performance at DMC JAPAN FINAL.
and created a new sensation by innovative idea, that is, play a original music by turntable spinning technic.

in 2005, at DMC JAPAN FINAL, he put forward the idea of "Building" which is quite new & innovative and explode usual DJ technic, like scratch and beat juggling.
the idea is far from usual DJ work like mixing and editing but DJ gonna "MAKE" a music!!

his philosophy of DJ entertainment is pure music expression.
the peaceful vibes sounds gently to the heart and body of audience.
His routine has high musicianship and entertainmenship based on a enough experiences on stages and sound product/compose ability.
Now the music scene is watching his new routine and track.


1993年、以前から影響されていたHIP HOPカルチャーへの興味が高まりターンテーブルを購入。1994年よりモバイルDJ、クラブDJとして地元大阪ー関西地方を中心に精力的な活動を行う。

1995年より様々なDJ battleに参戦、数々のタイトルを獲得し優秀な成績をおさめる。1999年にはニューヨークシティ、ハンマースタインボールルームにて行われた世界最 高峰のDJ Battle、DMC DJ MIXING CHANPIONSHIPSに日本代表チームとして参加。多数のメディア、TV 、ラジオ、新聞、雑誌等で取り上げられる事となる。その後も常に最先端をいくターンテーブリズムを展開し2003年に行われたDMC JAPAN FINALではかつてより研究を進めていた驚愕のオリジナルサウンドを用いた革命的ルーティーンでシーンを騒然とさせた。また2007 Vestax etravaganza World Final では日本人最高位、そして世界第二位を獲得する。

DJ Zoeのルーティーンは高度なサウンドプロダクト能力とコンポーズ能力そして豊富なキャリア、ステージ経験値に裏ずけされた圧倒的エンターテイン能力と音 楽性の高さが特徴であり、見るものを熱狂の渦に巻き込みソリストとしてのターンテーブリストの可能性をどこまでも引き上げつずける。

また数々のアーティストサポートDJ ー Bennie K、4DJAM、Word Swingaz 、WRECKING CREW ORCHESTRAなどやライブセッション ー KREVA、SHINGO西成、ROMANCREWなど--も経験し、またトラックメーカー、プロデューサーとしても今後の期待が高まる。

it was a great night on 17.oct. we invited dj m.y.k. from my town fukuoka, japan.
she works in "TICRO MARKET", a record shop in fukuoka where i always go to buy vinyls since i've started djing.

i just backed to fukuoka in aug. and became a witness of legend.
she did a insane job, 12hours long set by herself..... was really amazing set like in a dream.
from her background, rock based dance music with her wide spectrum.
i've believed myself should let her play in hk...

and the timing was just same with our 1st work as hamzap !!!
i talked to m.y.k. fly over hong kong.


10月17日はナイスな夜でした。自分の地元福岡よりミユキさん a.k.a. dj m.y.k.をゲストに。
彼女は僕がdjを始めたばかりの頃からずっと通ってるレコードショップ "TICRO MARKET"で働いている。

ちょうど8月に福岡に帰省した。そして伝説の証人になった。
彼女は本当にすごかった、夢の中で踊ってる様な12時間セット。
ロックをバックグラウンドに持つ彼女らしい幅広いダンスミュージック。
この時既に、本当に彼女に香港でプレイして欲しいと思うようになっていた。

そしてちょうどhumzapの第一弾の仕事とタイミングがぴったり重なった !!!
すぐにミユキさんにオファーをかけた。


after pick her up to airport and went to hotel for check in.
then took her shopping and she got cute nike's sneaker.
change her shoes and head volar for sound check.
and we had dinner at well-known Yung Kee Restaurant...this is our routine.

当日空港に迎えに行ってホテルに移動しチェックイン。
それから買い物に出かけ、ミユキさんはかわいいナイキのスニーカーをゲット。
早速新しいスニーカーにチェンジして会場のvolarにサウンドチェックに向かう。
そして晩御飯は近くにある有名な広東料理の老舗、Yung Kee Restaurantへ・・・これが最近のお決まりのコース。



i got warming up for m.y.k. so started to spin from 10pm with mellow disco dub with bpm115.
lately i often play tech house and deep techno in midnight but prefer to play slow and mad disco in early set.
eventually people filled up place and i built up to techno then passed to m.y.k..

自分はウォーミングアップの為10時からプレイ開始。bpm115くらいのユルいdisco dubでスタート。
最近よくtech houseやdeep technoを深夜にかけてるけど、早めの時間ではもっとスロウでマッドなdiscoをかける事が多い。
徐々にお客さんが入り出し、technoにシフトして行ってミユキさんにチェンジ。


she started from a bit mellow breakbeats.
but built up to electro and house sounds not like other djs i've listened, so sofisticated.
the sound has both of pop and hardcore elements, i beleave her style is one and only.
we don't have chance to listen that kind of sound really much in hk.

ミユキさんはちょっとテンションを落として少し緩めのbreakbeatsからスタート。
でもそこから徐々にelectroやhouseを重ねて行くも、何か他のdjとは違うひねりの利いた選曲。
ポップさとハードコアさの加減といい、本当にワンアンドオンリーなスタイルだと思う。
こういう音を香港ではそうそう聴く機会はない。









volar is the place for electro so i asked her to drop some big tune in her set and she played some bouncy electro but also many kind of great tracks, even new order in late of the set.
was really intersting.

we must be wasted if response to music with only how fast or how outstanding.
but we got many good response from people enjoyed the music spectrum of a story teller, dj m.y.k. at that night so really want to bring her back to hong kong again !!!
should be deep techno set in yumla ?!?! it must be MAD !!!

volarという箱自体がかなりelectro好きな雰囲気で、時々分かりやすい曲も挟んでもらうように頼んでいたというのもあってセットの半ばには結構強めなelectroもかけていたけど、最後の方にはnew orderとかまで色んなとこに行ってて、本当に面白いセットだった。

音の速さや派手さでしか音楽に反応出来ないのはもったいない事だと思う。
でもこの夜、dj m.y.k.というストーリーテラーの音楽観を楽しんでくれたお客さんからは色々良いレスポンスがあったので、また是非彼女を香港に呼び戻したい!!!
次はyumlaでdeep technoセットとか実現したら・・・ヤバイ!!!



next day, it's in season of "german oktober fest" then we had great dinner in germany restaurant with beer and sausage, and hopped into spanish restaurant to grab awesome oysters.

パーティー終了後、翌日は"german oktober fest"のシーズンだったのもありビール、ソーセージで打ち上げ、更にスパニッシュレストランでナイスなオイスターも頂きました。

she is great dj enough to make us motivated to keep droping much more good music in hk.

we are humzap !!!

yeaaaman !!! we just launched "humzap entertainment" here in hong kong.
our aim is absolutely activation of underground dance music and also any other real good music.

there are many easy (or cheesy?!) music in city and pretty hard to meet or accept various great music which has already been popular in europe, united states or japan though we are gonna try to change the situation. however, we won't be convinced too much, we also know simply should bring NICE MUSIC to have NICE PARTY !!!

we mainly will organize party and invite guest dj and artist who is we believe SICK. going to invite guest from japan to hong kong in beginning but of course love to connect to everywhere oversea in future if right direction.
for japanese djs and artists, we also support you with management, translation, taking care in other country.

ヤーマン!!!　先日ここ香港にて"humzap entertainment"を立ち上げました。
狙いは当然アンダーグラウンド・ダンスミュージックとその他の様々なリアルグッドミュージックの活性化。

いわゆる分かりやすい音楽が街の多くに氾濫し、欧米や日本では既に市民権を得ている様な音楽がなかなか入って来ない、受け入れられない状況を何とか変えて行きたいという思いを胸に、でも肩に力を入れすぎることなくナイスな音をナイスなパーティーで鳴らし続けて行こうと思う次第であります!!!

主に自分達がヤバイ!と思うDJやアーティストをゲストに招待してパーティーを開催して行く予定です。まずは日本からのゲストを香港にというスタンスから出発の予定ですが、もちろん良い方向性であれば先は他の国ともガンガン繋げて行くつもりです。
日本からのDJ・アーティストの方々に対しては海外でのマネージメントや通訳などをサポートさせて頂きます。

現在オフィシャルウェブサイトを製作中です。DJ・アーティスト情報を公開して行きますので興味のある方、掲載を希望される方はまずデモ音源と写真とプロフィール（あれば英語版も）送って下さい。もちろん地域や国籍などは問いません。
