Typhoon has gone, and real summer time has come!!
This time we, HUMZAP bring you Latin, Brazilian groove sounds.
HUMZAP is pleased to bring cool DJ, DJ Yoichi to GUSQU!!
He has started spinning since 1997 as a teenager, 70's Punk Rock and Neo Mods at first,
but soon turned to mix with dance tunes, House, R&B, Soul, Electro, Brasil and stuff.
Moved to New York in 2002, he has played at sweaty local clubs in East Village while has been
stepping around Meat Packing District especially for Deep Space at Cielo. In those days,
he established his style which makes people not only dance but happy.

Now, will be ready to get even hotter in the night of Lan Kwai Fong!!!

GUSQU Vol.4 (Djembe night!)

Djembes night is coming up on Jun/13(Sat)!!!
We humzap will bring one of the best Djembe drumer in HK, Makhs to GUSQU!!!

Makha Diop (Director) was born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. He grew up playing African music and the djembe drum.

Makha progressed quickly with his drumming and became a member of the (Africa Djembe )Group. This unique and talented group of drummers have performed in front of many famous people and celebrities who over the years came to visit Makha's hometown island of Goree In 1997, the former US president Bill Clinton came to visit and yet again the African Djembe Group gave a thoroughly welcoming performance.

Makha has performed at the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens, the Malaysian Grand Prix, the first ever Grand Prix held in Shanghai, China and many more. He has also worked at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, as a djembe teacher. He has been featured in various entertainment events alongside numerous Cantonese film and music celebrities in Hong Kong such as Ben Lung and Alber Au and many more.Makha has also been conducting many cooperate training events and team building programes in Hong Kong for more than 6 years.

DJ GEORGE a.k.a. DOPE KING fr/Diggin'Deeper Music Works.
Started his DJ career in 1988

Since then he has done numerous collaborations with, of course
artists in Japan but also with overseas as well.
He is one of the Real Hip Hop DJ in Okinawa and Kyushu area,

which is well known for the Hip Hop scene.
Currently he is located at one of Okinawa`s top Club Lounge
"Saicolo" and is the Producer/Resident DJ there.
